To me the forefront of a good therapeutic alliance between client and therapist is a safe space where clients are able to express themselves freely without fear of judgment. First and foremost, I feel my job is to actively listen. With longitudinal sessions, I will begin by catching up on any important events or stressors you would like to address since our last meeting. I always want to make sure we are in alignment so we know how to best spend our time in order to meet your needs. I treat and help clients focus on symptoms and goals rather than treating a diagnosis. We will work together to identify your goals and work on developing a set of coping skills to help give you your best chance of success moving forward.
Outside of the office, Anastasia loves spending her time reading, lifting weights, or spending time with family/friends. She likes exploring different coffee shops and leaning into creative outlets like writing and photography. She is always down to travel!
