Why do group?
There is something profoundly healing about realizing you are not alone.
While individual therapy offers a deeply meaningful space to explore your own experiences, group therapy provides something uniquely powerful, the opportunity to heal with others. Many of the struggles we carry such as shame, self-doubt, isolation, grief, trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, or simply the feeling that no one else could possibly understand, begin to lose their grip when they are met with genuine understanding, acceptance, and connection.
Research has consistently shown that group therapy is an effective treatment for a wide range of concerns, with outcomes that are often comparable to individual therapy. In fact, many people find that participating in a therapy group alongside individual counseling enhances both experiences. Group offers opportunities to practice new skills in real time, receive meaningful feedback, witness others' growth, and discover that healing is not something we have to do in isolation.
One of the most beautiful parts of group is that healing doesn't only come from the therapist, it also comes from the wisdom, compassion, encouragement, and shared humanity of the people sitting beside you. Time and time again, members discover that the very experiences they once felt ashamed of become the moments that create the deepest connection.
Whether you're looking to build coping skills, process life's challenges, strengthen relationships, explore your identity, or simply find a community that understands, group therapy offers a space where growth happens together. We are incredibly passionate about creating groups that are safe, affirming, engaging, and meaningful spaces where every person feels valued, supported, and empowered.
Because healing is powerful.
But healing in community can be transformative.
