Welcome! I understand that seeking support can often be challenging, and for many people, it is a big step to take. I create a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment and aim to help you feel comfortable and supported from the very beginning of our time together. I provide an empathetic, thoughtful, accepting, and non-judgmental approach to all clients. My goal is to create a safe space where I can compassionately walk alongside you as you begin to freely explore and express your feelings and thoughts. I have a strong commitment to learning about you and understanding your unique experiences. Some examples of areas we can focus on include caring for your mental health and emotional well-being, identifying your strengths, navigating your challenges, learning helpful coping skills, and building further resilience and hope. Together, we will work as a team while we address whatever it is you may be struggling with.
I am grateful to have the privilege of getting to partner with individuals during their therapeutic journeys. I truly believe that you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to provide unconditional support as you heal and move through life. Everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported, and have an advocate in their corner.
Bari remembers having an affection for helping others since childhood. She always had an unwavering desire to care for and help people. Before becoming a therapist, Bari explored several different helping professions; however, she felt as though none of them felt quite like the right fit for her. When Bari found the field of Mental Health Counseling, it finally felt like she had found the best way for her to support others. Bari is very thankful for the help and support she has received throughout her life. She understands the profound impact that support and connection can have on the healing journey.
Outside of the office, Bari cherishes spending time with her loved ones, especially her two mini schnauzer pups. One of Bari’s favorite activities is going for walks on the beach and looking for sharks’ teeth. She also enjoys going to exercise classes, listening to music, watching TV shows, going to the movies, playing board games, meeting new people and connecting with others, and exploring creative activities. Bari aims to approach life with curiosity, openness, and kindness.
Bari is currently in the process of getting credentialed with insurances to support as many people as she can.
